On February 18, 2006, the Riverhead Foundation released Valentina - a yearling female harbor seal - back to the wild. Valentina was equipped with a satellite tag that will give the biologists infomation about her post release movements. Valentina's release, despite cold and windy weather, was witnessed by numerous supporters of the Riverhead Foundation!
