Lily's latest location:

 

Lily was rescued from Atlantique on Fire Island National Seashore on April 7, 2008. She was thin and had an injured right fore flipper. Her recovery was quick and she was released back to the wild two months later on June 7, 2008. At the time of her release Lily weighed 72 lbs having gained 23 lbs in rehabilitation.

Representatives from the United States Coast Guard Station Shinnecock, which works closely with the Riverhead Foundation, joined us for Lily's release.
