The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research & Preservation will continue its mission of rescuing and rehabilitating marine mammals and sea turtles, but only with the support of individuals and corporations who are responsive to protect our fragile environment.
This facility will support the work of the Foundation by continuing to raise public awareness about what the Foundation does and what the marine environment of Long Island is really all about. A separate corporation is under-taking the financing and construction of the AMW. The Atlantis Marine World will be constructed at the present site of the Preview Center on the Peconic River, Riverhead, New York.
